Safety Around Water

Safety Around Water Dec 18 – Dec 22 Monday – Friday 4:30 pm- 5:00pm Safety Around Water is available for anyone in the community who wants their children, ages 4 – 14, to learn how to be safe in and around water. The program is available to participants for a small fee. Class size limited to 50 students. Members: $5/session Non-Members: $10/session Drowning can happen nearly anywhere with standing water. Water Activities Exploration

Water Activities Exploration Ages: 7 – 14 Time: 11:30 – 12:30 Dates: December 26 – 29 Join us in the pool for a new and exciting program developed for youth ages 7-14, with the focus of having fun in the water. Participants will learn various pool games and skills such as, Water Basketball, Water Volleyball, Log Rolling, and more. Skills taught will passing and shooting a ball in the water, serving a volleyball over a net in the water, aquatic fitness, following rules, teamwork and building friendships. Winter Playmates Location: Ironworks Branch Ages: 2 – 5 years with parent Time: 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. December 26 – 29 This program is designed to provide activities that will help your children develop academically and grow socially. Parents and children will participate together and create a daily art project, come together for story time, and enjoy 30 minutes in the pool daily. Tree of Hope

Grab an ornament off the Tree of Hope, located in the lobby of the Ironworks Branch, beginning Friday, November 17 and offer hope to School District of Beloit students involved in McKinney-Vento and SAPAR programs. These programs assist students with issues such as homelessness, pregnancy, being a parent and much more. Choose your ornament, purchase the item(s) on the ornament and return the wrapped item(s) to the Ironworks Branch by December 15.
