WATER EXERCISE

This shallow water workout includes callisthenic-style movements with variations of upper and lower body resistive moves. Class participants will march, jog, kick and jump through the water to create resistance to improve cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance and flexibility. Classes are included in membership.

Mondays: 8:15 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. in Activity Pool
Mondays: 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. in Lap Pool
Tuesdays: 8:15 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. in Activity Pool
Tuesdays: 5:45 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. in Lap Pool - S'WET Water Exercise
Wednesdays: 8:15 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. in Activity Pool
Wednesdays: 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. in Lap Pool
Thursdays: 8:15 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. in Activity Pool

TEEN/ADULT SWIM LESSONS (AGES 13+)
It’s never too late to learn how to swim! These lessons are for individuals who wish to learn to swim as well as develop their stroke techniques, swim abilities and increase endurance.
When: Tuesdays
Beginner Class: 6:00-6:30 p.m.
This class is for those who are unable to fully submerge underwater,
cannot float on their front or back and need to learn basic water safety
skills, all while learning to be comfortable in the water.
Intermediate Class: 5:15-5:45 p.m.
This class is for those who can fully submerge underwater, can
float on their front and/or back. This class is for those who are comfortable in
the water have some basic swim skills.
Advanced Class: 5:15-5:45 p.m.
This class is for those who can swim front crawl, have basic knowledge
of the other swim strokes and are looking to build endurance and
improve swim techniques.

100 MILE SWIM CHALLENGE
Make your laps count! Join our 100 Mile Swim Challenge and track your progress in our Swim Lesson Challenge binder located on the pool deck. All swim styles and techniques are welcome! The technique is not the priority, just the distance. Swim and complete this challenge at your own pace. Receive a t-shirt once you complete 100 miles!!
When: January 1, 2023 - December 31, 2023
Who: All members ages 16 and up
Cost: $20.00 per member
How do you get to 100 Miles?
- 2 miles a week equals 100 miles in about 50 weeks
- 3 miles a week equals 100 miles in about 33 weeks
- 1 mile a day for 5 days a week, equals 100 miles in about 20 weeks
How many laps in a mile?
- Length = one side of the pool or 25 yards
- Lap = down and back or 50 yards
- 1 mile = 66 lengths or 33 laps (1650 yards)
- 100 miles = 165,000 yards or 3300 laps
