
Classes are designed to give a full work out while improving flexibility, coordination, balance and strength. We also work on listening skills, following directions and social skills. Children use all of the gymnastics equipment at every level and classes are small so children receive exceptional instruction from well trained instructors.

ROLLERS – LEVEL 1 (AGES 6-9)
In this beginner-level class, children will be practicing skills that will give them a strong foundation in gymnastics. Classes will focus on skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels on floor and basic skills on beam, bars and vault.

SWINGERS – LEVEL 2 (AGES 6-9)
In this intermediate class, gymnasts are introduced to more advanced skills and continue to build upon the fundamentals learned in Rollers. Classes focus on skills such as pullovers and hip circles on the bars, forward roll and basic jumps on the beam and handstands and cartwheels on the floor.
Please note Rollers is a pre-req. If your child was in gymnastics before, or you think he or she should be in this level, please contact Ashley at ahoverson@statelineymca.org to set up an evaluation.

KIPPERS – LEVEL 3 (AGES 6-9)
This is an advanced class that continues to build on the skills learned in Swingers. At this level participants will be attempting to master skills including: round offs and kickovers on the floor, back and mill circles on the bars, handstands on the beam and dive rolls on the vault.
Please note: Swingers is a pre-req. A coach must indicate that your gymnast is ready for this level. If you believe your child is at this level, please schedule an evaluation with Ashley at ahoverson@statelineymca.org.

Homeschool Classes
Homeschool youth classes will work on all of the gymnastics events while understanding the basics of each event. All levels are welcome.

Bronze Rec - Youth Ages 10 & up
Bronze Rec invites gymnasts of all abilities ages 10 years old or older to start or continue their gymnastics journey! This class is for the beginner and intermediate gymnast, and they will focus on improving strength, coordination, endurance, and flexibility. They will focus on a variety of skills throughout each session. Our enthusiastic coaches look forward to helping gymnasts ages 10 and older improve their skills and grow their passion for gymnastics.

BOYS GYMNASTICS CLASSES
Join our Boys Gymnastics Classes with our Head Team Coach, Dalton Struebin to learn all Men’s Gymnastics Events and skills. Boys will learn basic skills and positions, while building strength, increasing flexibility, and improving coordination.
