Youth Gymnastics Ages 6-12

Classes are designed to give a full work out while improving flexibility, coordination, balance and strength. We also work on listening skills, following directions and social skills. Children use all of the gymnastics equipment at every level and classes are small so children receive exceptional instruction from well trained instructors.

Making It Easy For You!

Gymnastics programs are now going monthly — no more sessions! Please pay for your first month at registration to secure a spot in the class, then fill out a bank draft form for the future months. When you register once, that’s all the work you have to do while your child continues in our progressive gymnastics program!

Class descriptions

ROLLERS – LEVEL 1 (AGES 6-12)

In this beginner-level class, children will be practicing skills that will give them a strong foundation in gymnastics. Classes will focus on skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels on floor and basic skills on beam, bars and vault.

Days:
Mondays 4-5pm
Wednesdays 4-5pm
Thursdays 4-5pm
Saturdays 9-10am

SWINGERS – LEVEL 2 (AGES 6-12)

In this intermediate class, gymnasts are introduced to more advanced skills and continue to build upon the fundamentals learned in Rollers. Classes focus on skills such as pullovers and hip circles on the bars, forward roll and basic jumps on the beam and handstands and cartwheels on the floor.

Mondays 5-6 pm
Wednesdays 5-6 pm
Saturdays 10-11am

KIPPERS – LEVEL 3 (AGES 6-12)

This is an advanced class that continues to build on the skills learned in Swingers. At this level participants will be attempting to master skills including: round offs and kickovers on the floor, back and mill circles on the bars, handstands on the beam and dive rolls on the vault.

Tuesday/Thursday 6-7:30pm

BOYS GYMNASTICS CLASSES

Join our Boys Gymnastics Classes with our Head Team Coach, Dalton Struebin to learn all Men’s Gymnastics Events and skills. Boys will learn basic skills and positions, while building strength, increasing flexibility, and improving coordination. Boys will be trained on floor exercise, parallel bars, high bar, rings and trampoline. For more information contact Dalton at dstruebin@statelineymca.org
