
The Y, along with American Red Cross, believe that proper training and education could save thousands of lives each year. The Lifeguarding, CPR/First Aid/AED classes are designed to help our community prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies and disasters. All courses feature concise, learner-centered design and emphasize hands-on skills.
Lifeguard certification blended learning COURSE
Utilizing classroom and web-based learning, participants seeking to become a lifeguard will receive the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies as well as provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical service personnel take over. This course has a prerequisite swim test.

Lifeguard review blended learning
Utilizing classroom and web-based learning, participants will renew their current or soon expiring lifeguard certification upon successful completion of this course.
Prerequisite – Current Lifeguard Certification that is still valid or has been expired for less than 30 days.
